Kacey Peterson has always enjoyed working with children. After high school, she attended Cabrillo College while continuing to work with children in preschools, in elementary school settings, and as a nanny. She is currently attending classes at CSUMB to obtain an elementary teaching degree and teaching credential. She enjoys working with kids because they are always willing to learn something new, and everyday is a new experience. Kacey brings her good nature, team spirit, and appreciation of the young child to Rose Blossom School.
Amy Rawlings studied Early Childhood Education at Cabrillo College, and was the head teacher for a home-based preschool for three years before having her own two children. She substituted for a kindergarten teacher in a local private school for another three years. After studying and completing a yoga teacher training, and earning a kids yoga teacher training certification, she began to teach yoga to children throughout the local community. It fills her with joy to have the opportunity to share moments with young children in their time of discovery of the world around them and themselves. We are happy to have Amy at Rose Blossom to share her calmness and kindness and love for children.
Darlene Hall has an AA degree in Early Childhood Education from Cabrillo College, and has acquired her Master Teacher's permit in Early Childhood. During her time at Cabrillo College she was on the Student Teacher Advisory committee, and excelled in Science classes. She now has over ten years of experience teaching early childhood in the Santa Cruz area. Ms. Darlene brings her experience and knowledge of science, sewing, and early childhood together at Rose Blossom School, where she uses her skills to create art and science activities for the children, showers them with loving attention, and enjoys watching them grow.
